Important Information for Participants of the Tartu Song Celebratio

Dear Song Celebration Participant,

The day of the Tartu Song Celebration is fast approaching!

To ensure our celebration runs smoothly and all issues are resolved before rehearsals, we are sharing important information for you to pass on to your groups.

  1. Meal Schedule
The detailed meal schedule and catering information can be found on the Song Celebration website under the "Catering for Singers" section: https://2024.tartulaulupidu.ee/esinejale/lauljale/lauljate-toitlustamine/

  2. Rehearsal Schedule
The detailed rehearsal schedule is available on the Song Festival website under the "Rehearsals" section: https://2024.tartulaulupidu.ee/esinejale/lauljale/eelproovid/

  3. Procession
The locations of groups in the procession, along with important times and reminders, are available on the Song Celebration website under the "Procession" section: https://2024.tartulaulupidu.ee/esinejale/lauljale/rongkaik/

You can search for your exact location using the search form by entering the name of the group or conductor/leader. This will provide you with the street for assembly and your column color, which you should remember so that the folk dancers can guide you on the spot.

  4. Wristbands, Meal Vouchers, and Programme Books
Assembled wristbands, meal vouchers, and program books await you at the Song and Dance Celebration Club MÜLÄ (Kroonuaia 76) until Friday (21.06) from 3 PM to 7 PM.

If you are unable to collect them during this time, you can pick up the envelope with these items on Saturday (22.06) starting at 8:30 AM from the information tent near the B-entrance of the Tartu Song Festival Grounds (Tähtvere Street side).

    IMPORTANT!
For security reasons, you cannot enter rehearsals and the Song Celebration without a wristband! This means that if you are collecting items for your group on Saturday, you must distribute the wristbands to the singers and musicians at the gate of the festival grounds beforehand.

Access to the participant and organizer areas on 22.06 will be allowed ONLY upon showing a wristband. Parents, friends, and relatives who come to watch or bring children to rehearsals will not be allowed into this area. Please arrange meeting points outside the festival grounds to avoid any discussions on this topic with security personnel.

  5. Bus and Parking Information
If you arrive at rehearsals and the Song Festival by bus, buses can stop in the lower parking lot of the Song Festival Grounds for the transport of singers and musicians. Buses can park at the parking lot of the Estonian University of Life Sciences sports hall. Parking for cars in the lower parking lot of the Song Festival Grounds is prohibited.

Thank you for your understanding!

For additional questions, please write to [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible.

Best regards,

The Organizers of the Tartu 2024 Song and Dance Celebration
